Brief Introduction of 34.5kg Capacity Storage Bottle & Applicable Contents
This 34.5kg large-capacity thick-walled ground-glass sealed bottle is originally designed for bulk storage of elemental mercury. Featuring outstanding sealing performance and corrosion resistance, it can be used to contain the following materials:
1. Elemental mercury (liquid mercury). A water seal layer shall be added inside the bottle to curb the volatilization of toxic mercury vapor.
2. Low-melting-point liquid metals, including gallium and indium.
3. Highly volatile hazardous reagents such as bromine and carbon disulfide.
4. Mildly corrosive inorganic acid solutions applied in mine assay laboratories: dilute sulfuric acid, oxalic acid solution and concentrated hydrochloric acid.
5. Volatile organic solvents for mineral testing, including ethyl acetate, for short-term laboratory storage only.
Forbidden Substances
It is forbidden to store strong caustic soda solution, hydrofluoric acid, sulfur powder, active alkali metals and easily decomposable explosive chemicals in this bottle.
