Product Description

( UN 1090) is classified as Class 3 flammable liquid. It is a colorless, highly volatile and highly miscible organic solvent.

In mineral processing industry:

1. It is used in assay labs to clean lab glassware and dehydrate ore test samples for fire assay analysis of gold and precious metals.

2. It removes grease and residual reagents from filter cloths and gold-loaded activated carbon.

3. It dilutes oily flotation frothers such as pine oil to improve dispersion performance in slurry.

It is also widely used for paint thinning, metal degreasing and organic chemical synthesis.
It is normally packed in 200L steel drums for export, and shall be stored far from fire sources and oxidants.
